INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

The internship has given me a lot of valuable experience. It has nearly been 3 months now and I can say ‘Adaptability with changes’ is a new skill that a start up has given me. The only difference I have learnt between a small and big corporation is that in a start up things change quickly and you don’t have liberty of time to adapt with it.

There are couple of additional responsibilities I will include in my Resume:

1. Reviewed digital assets such as text and graphic to improve presentation for strategic SEO, display, and usability on different devices.
2. Investigated consumer opinions through surveys, opinion polls and social media data mining.
3. Managed online marketing strategies such as promotions, viral campaigns, and social media engagement.

The soft skills that I am looking to add on my Resume include: Adaptability, conflict management, reframing and Empathy. I feel soft skills are as important as Hard skills, because not everything about you is data or technical knowledge. A company is looking for someone who is different than a Robot.

I am about to finish my internship in another 2 weeks, looking forward to see what I can learn more and I have requested my CEO to have a review meeting with me at the end of internship so I can know his feedback about me and incorporate it.
